A little something i discovered for ADC's in lower leagues

I didn't realize this because i was too caught up on winning and winning only. What can i do to reach victory? Well today i discovered something, while i played ADC i prioritized farm WAY too much. I wasn't intelligent enough because i acted in the way my enemy wanted me to act. I'll give you an example, the enemy goes to last shot minion and so do i. The enemy attacks me, i retaliate and continue farming. This made for a really obvious but repetitive laning phase. However, today i was really tilted.. and so i prioritized farm less by chance and i discovered that if the enemy goes for a minion and you ignore your own minion you will catch them off and do huge damage. Now, i know this sounds obvious but hear me out.. what's the difference now? The enemy can't read you anymore. You could move forward to threaten to hit the enemy or could fake hit a minion but instead go and attack the enemy champion. Then, you could force them to go back and not last shot the minion.. and you could farm your own minion. How tf was it i never realized this? I think it was because every damn guide said "For ADC try to farm a lot, farm is huge important" It's important, but making sure your enemy can never return to the game is just as important, especially in lower leagues.

This is "Trading", you give your opponent a choice: get cs and take damage OR leave the cs and save hp. If you can do this and you win every time, you have lane priority. This means you decide where the wave is in the lane

Early on it's less rewarding because enemy minions will aggro you and you'll probably lose a similar amount of hp. Also you need your support to back you up in the trades, because if your supp can't enter a trade and the enemy can, it's tough.

Generally if an ADC champ has higher range than their enemy ADC, they have priority, and that's because if they tether their range well, they can trade without taking return damage.

Watch a pro player like Ruler play Caitlyn into Ashe or Ashe into Caitlyn, any patch season 8+ will be good enough

I really like the Caitlyn vs Ashe matchup because Caitlyn has 650 range and Ashe has 600, both are really strong in lane and are eager to trade, so seeing them played well into eachother shows you what can be done when ADC's interact, or what should be done
