Why does nobody talk about Flash?

I'd been meaning to bring this up, and felt why not do it now?

If a champ has high play rates, it's a problem. If most champs build an item, it's a problem. That wrong? Then shouldn't it be considered a problem when over 90% of players have ? Literally, I wont deny it if someone said it was 99% of people! Could something be done about this? Increase it's cooldown, drop it's range? If these seem unacceptable to some players, then could we atleast buff the other summoner spells to be atleast comparable to it? I just think it's a little unhealthy how absolutely mandatory this is in games now. It's literally used by every lane.

Because this has already been addressed and riot admitted that flash would mess up a lot of champions and will never change it.

Thid game is balanced around flash and any significant change to it would require half of the champions in this game to get compensation buffs accordingly

Which is easier? Nerfing flash and having to buff several other factors, or leaving it as is?

Someone please explain to me why flash being ubiquitous is bad. And why is it always assumed that flash nerfs would make the game better? This is like saying we should nerf smite because every game has a jungler. Do we really want a game where there's a 50% chance you have a jungler and a 50% chance you have double top?

it's a nice general summ that fits offense and defense how do you propose it is changed? longer cd? too much and nobody takes it, too little and it's still worth it
