Would a Charge up process similar to Vi's Q make Nid feel more like a skilfully balanced champion instead of a spray and pray with spears until you nuke something type of champion?

I'm opposed to this just because it continues one of the many trends that people hate about mobility creep:

A champ has a ton of mobility and becomes a huge problem because of it
People complain about said champ
Instead of nerfing mobility, Riot nerfs OTHER parts of the champion so that they "pay" for their mobility, lowering their power budget
The champ's biggest strength is now their mobility, which makes them the same as every other champ people complain about

Mobility isn't really the problem in most cases. I've accepted that that is the direction Riot is going to go. I just want those champs to pay for it in some manner.

I don't mind kassadin's rift walk, or nid's constant escaping, those things make them unique. But nid can also just stand back and lob spears all day if she isn't ahead until she gets lucky.

Mobility is fine. Not paying for mobility isn't. The real kicker though are the immobile champs who aren't given better strengths for lacking mobility.

IMO the thing Riot seems to put at the highest cost in terms of "Power Budget" is range. Champs with long range anything seem to really get the shaft in other areas of their kit.
