What Top champion do you think has the best burst? I know assassins and mages are typically the bursters but I like to play a tankier roll, I do however like to be able to hit hard and do good chunk damage.

CancerMage2 votesPantheon with thunderlord's and ignite. You pretty much steamroll leaning phase through constant Q poke, and you can punish the enemy super hard if they overextend even a little bit with your QWEQ. Earlygame you shred even tanks, and you can one shot if you're a bit ahead. You build a bit of damage and lethality, as well as some offensive items with tank stats like Iceborn, Maw, etc. Lategame you can ult into teamfights and burst their adc down, though you'll lose in lategame 1v1s vs sustain heavy characters like Darius, etc. unless you play well or get lucky.

but assuming she isn't banned is by far the best top lane burster that can also build pretty much full tank. Doubt there is any top lane that can actually out dmg illoai once she gets her items.

Has the highest burst out of the 3, but is also the most immobile. She has to rely on her opponents being dumb and not knowing how to counter her (stay away from the tentacles). Low elo she's insane but the higher up you get the weaker she becomes
Has less burst but his cooldowns are insanely low and can get resets. He can also make plays on his own unlike illaoi and is much more high elo proof.
Is a much more mobile choice than the other two. Don't play much renek so I can't speak for him, but his early game is insane. Late game though if you don't get snowballing you become almost completely useless.
Same as renek but less mobility and more global roaming.
jaméss1 votes I did the shy combo on my new build for Riven. After using all her leftover qs after the combo, on the 100 armor and 100 mr dummy did 4100 damage.
But in actually game it is rare that you would hit all of the combo+3 (q+aa)
I'm not a master with Riven but know quite few stuff.. She takes quite a bit of time to micromanage, since can bully or be bullied. Recommend watching streams such as BoxBox, GTT, etc
Frightning1 votesIf you want to be tanky and yet have good burst, then is pretty much exactly what you're looking for. His E-W-Q-E trading combo does a pretty obscene amount of damage in a short timeframe, and scales really well with bonus AD too (protip: get W at level 1 and max E first).
