How can I improve my macro?

Basically the title.

I want to improve my macro gameplay. I feel like that is the area where improving makes the most difference so I want some advice as to how to improve there. I know that good macro can win a game almost singlehandedly and have actually had matches where I was on point with my macro and won games by doing that. I just want some advice to help me get more efficient at rotating and taking objectives. I main jungle/top if that is any help to you.

Silver 3, I don't play ranked much, but when I did I jumped 4 divisions in about 5 days.

If your normals are close to your ranked, I am guessing teams are not very coordinated. In that case, an extremely effective maneuver for macro play is to ping for grouping mid, get some pressure going, then either tele or walk top or bot, whichever is further pushed. In low elo, this almost always gaurantees you at least one tower, unless your team follows you or falls bavk. Egg them on with pings and chat to keep pushing and go hard on a side lane. Most likely, if you are fed, more than one, and usually more than two enemies will follow you, opening up mid. If not, free turret, and if you are doing badly, it still takes pressure off of your team and gets you farm.

-basically split pushing, hard to deal with in solo and low elos. -400 game 62 wr Nasus, may be biased on overview of the game.

ward chock points in enemy jungles

hot spots like main entrances not just bushes your wards should cover as much ground as possible so that their champion will most likely walk thru the area to get to another lane and you will spot them by warding u can see where their team is setting up or farming at and you can rotate around and take towers for free or objs such as their jungle camps towers dragon scuttle crab etc.

If you see their jungle bot late game and they have no way to get to baron quick. you should try to do baron with your team since the jungler is not around . the same goes for if their adc shows bot lane late. its a easy time to go to baron because they have no adc to win or contest the obj..

1-3-1 split push always works well esp with baron buff

make the enemy team follow you around not the other way around... do this by warding well and contesting more then 1 lane at once

Manage your minon waves ... your minions coming out of ur base is coordinated with your enemy minions >ex. When ur minions spwan their minions spwan when ur minion passes ur tier 1 turret their minions are passing by their tier 1 turret... keep this in mind when you are away from your lanes so you can see when and where the waves will crash so you can farm better

This game is all about thinking ahead thats all there is to it

Macro play... now that's a term I haven't seen used for LoL before. It's usually seen in the RTS genre... are you by any chance a Starcraft 2 player?

Nope, although it considering MOBAs are strategy games at heart, it really makes sense here.
