I agree. Given the removal of Spellvamp he should get his old Q damage back on all unempowered Qs as baseline compensation for the itemisation nerfs
Also, I support a move to make E more reliable (AOE, unblockable) even if it comes at the cost of less damage... Vlad needs more reliability on his bread and butter abilities, not over telegraphed ''damage'' that he can't reliably land
Also, the healing from the Ult should be removed and the power transferred to his bread and butter abilities (Q and E)
Agree, sustain mechanics were at vlad's core and before anything else, his Q needs to be restored.
I like the OP's mechanic.
It strikes a good balance and compensates Vlad for the loss of Spell Vamp.
Also, the E mechanic would be way more useful because right now its not hitting anything except tanks and minions at higher level play.
Only thing vlad needs is his Q's duration to be increased by 0.5 seconds and ulti still heals if unit dies beforehand other than that he's excellent where he is. Just don't be a noob and max E first Q does nothing.
Vlad Doesn't need to do devastating damage, he was intended to be a sustain mage through continuous damage but now he ends up losing more HP(2 E 20% max hp gone and there's pool with 20% current hp) than gaining it back with his skills in a fight. He does not have that range nor the mobility to survive after he uses 30-40% of his HP now that he lacks the hp gain back potential.
In his current state he is only able to fight if he is not targeted. Wasn't he supposed to go in the middle of the enemy team and deal damage? There's is no point in doing that if you still lose 30-40% hp from the early fight just from your abilities no matter how tanky you are. Your ap scaling on E comes only at full charge and is easily blocked, your normal Q base and ap scaling is crap, your pool does less damage, your ulti amplifies less.
The new vladimirs overall damage output is way less than his pre-rework state, he has less mobility with no boot enchantment and E, he cant get hp back properly, just ends up losing more and dies really fast in fights.
