Okay this might seem like a qq post but I just want peoples opinion on how to counter olaf. I picked yasuo and they pick olaf from lvl 1 he managed to stomp me into the ground for no reason at all(that I could tell) it got even worse after level 6, when he could just tower dive me with no chance of retaliation due to not being affected by cc and I was denied farm so hard i couldn't even build any tank stats

Is there any way to counter olaf post 6?

Yasuo just out scales Olaf. Pretty sure it's just a skill match up early. Just don't feed him and eventually you will do more damage and be more usefull overall.

The answer to stopping Olaf is just don't feed him. He is strong early and mid but drops off after that.

Duelist Juggernaut who basically can't be stopped if he combines ghost with his ult.

You best bet would be the gang up. but their really isn't a good way to deal with him 1v1.

do not all in him, get a champion who can poke and find the best way to erase all his HP, when he uses his ultI think he looses defenses so take advantage of that.

This might be somewhat advanced but like... you have to dodge his axes and just farm to late game. There's very few top laners that DON'T outscale Olaf, and Yasuo definitely isn't one of them. Just wait until you have 3 items and you can beat him.

a good yasuo beats a good olaf early. an yasuo outscales.

Not with Yasuo, no because a lot of the outplay and damage comes from your Q knock up and ultimate. Plus he can pop the shield easily with Q and it's on pretty low cool down.

You got counter picked. You just have to play passively and poke knockups the best you can. Dodge his q and guard it with a tornado if he goes for it, he won't be able to catch you. Also ignite or building executioners calling helps a lot also for all ins

I do not play Yasuo, I cannot offer much champion specific information there. I play Quinn, Riven, Teemo, Leona and Nautilus top. The closest examples I have is Quinn and Riven. But typically, you have to play a retreating game against Olaf when his ult is off cooldown. Because you won't be able to use any of your lockdown until he uses it. Mostly, you will want to focus on the safest farm you can, ask for help POLITELY! (I am a jungle main, if you ask nicely, I will gank for you when it is a viable option.) Then wait for late game. Olaf is not very strong late game anymore because like Shyvana, Udyr, Yi, Renekton and others. Late game it is super easy to play around Olaf or kite him. Not by any means saying he is weak, he just loses his thunder late game mostly due to kiting and lack of outplay potential.
