New Level 30's and Ranked Placements Flawed

I feel that the 10 placement ranked matches for new level 30s are flawed. I'm talking about New Level 30s who never played any previous seasons before and are first timers to ranked. They can lose as much as 6-7 out of their ten placement matches and still end up as high as Silver II and III. I know this because everytime before a match, I 'lolskill' my matches just to get some intel on what I'm up against and the players I'm teaming up with. A lot of times I see players with less than 10 wins and it shows when a majority of them feed in-game. I'm not going to report them for doing horribly or feeding because I know they weren't. Just that they were a bit 'green' to ranked and I personally feel games are harder on ranked than normal even though I'm currently only in Silver III.

I feel that new level 30's shouldn't even be placed in Silver but anywhere between Bronze V to Bronze I. Let them earn Silver and up. Let them climb the ladder and if they are really that good, then they can skip tiers if their hidden MMR surpasses the division that they are in. It's pretty stupid how a new player can get a Silver Border Trim after going 3 wins out of 10 games and never touch ranked again.

--My Story-- I had the misfortune of being placed in Bronze II after breaking even on my placements as far as I can remember about half a year ago. I was Silver IV during season 4 so it was pretty horrible to be demoted so low after my placements. I tried to climb back to Silver but got Stuck in Bronze I and after Tilting hard back to Bronze II so I quit LoL briefly.

But now I came back to LoL with a refreshed attitude about getting better and after a long hiatus I got my sights set on getting gold. I know that it's preseason but I heard that the MMR stays intact so I'm playing with the hopes that my rank stays intact in preparation for season VI. I started playing a couple of weeks back and have since gone from Bronze II to Silver III. The only gripe I got with the ranking system so far has been what I described above. I hope this can be addressed before season VI starts for 'New level 30 Accounts' that first time ranked.

If you win all 10 games, you'll be placed in Silver 1, so it's not surprising you get players with less than 10 wins in your games. While it's true that most Bronze players are new players, it's not necessarily true that most new players are Bronze players. Silver is the largest division, after all.

to be fair, when i hit level 30 i DID NOT attempt ranked because i KNEW i would just lose more often for no reason...

i WAITED until i had owned 16 champs that i liked to play, not the 16 cheapest champions. also i waited until i had 4 rune pages.

so i kept getting my FWOTD on bots, played primarily ARAM, and when i had played for roughly ~4months after level 30, thats when i knew i was ready to start playing ranked.

in addition, dont try new champs in ranked, ever, its just bad practice.
