Bugs And Crashes

I was recently going in to a ranked game after updating league for patch 6.12 and just logging on. As I enter the game the league icon does not pop up and put me in the loading screen. I attempt to try and reconnect by opening the client but nothing happens despite how many times I clicked it. I dont want a leaver buster or a penalty because of this bug. What should I do?
