why cant we use the CTRL and SHIFT keys in game??? i mean there is so many people who would like to use this keys myself included but for some reason we are not allowed to use them in game. RIOT pls can you make this keys usable in game? i dont use the normal key binding setup i use my arrow keys to move my camera and the keys around it to use SS and my abilities. CTRL and SHIFT would make things easier for some of us. i also play SMITE and im allowed to use this keys and the experience in game is so much better since i can use my abilities faster. its not just me but so many others who would love to see this keys available for us in game. thank you! XD

as single use.. for example i use my delete key for ward placing wen im support or my page down for items like BOTRK. they are not useable in game like this 2 examples. on the right side of my keyboard i use my numbers for other actions also like pots or SS. if you try to use this 2 they will not bind at all to any single use.

I think its because of other language's Input Method. If your computer's system have more than one IM, Shift/Control+Shift maybe the key to change IM.

I use control and alt all the time. I could use shift if I wanted to, but I'm just not in the habit of it. I'm kinda new to computer gaming, as opposed to console, so I haven't been trained to use them xD but I know they are available.

so if you wanted you could key bind your ult to ctrl or shift? because i cant use them at all in game. so i wonder why it wont let me do it...could it be the keyboard like DragonslayerFizzz suggested?

I'm not sure. the shift, cntrl, and alt keys I've used only as the secondary binding... you know like, to press cntrl + e to level it up. I don't know if it would be accepted as a primary binding, I've never tried that.

if you go into the settings with esc, the one tab is, input settings or keyboard settings or something. and there is a list of commands you give to the champion to cast abilities or move them around, and if you click on one of them you can tell it which keys to accept to take the command. but beware, because if you use a key that's already set somewhere else, there is no warning message, and that other usage gets removed.
