Why is it so hard to group in low elo?

I just don't understand it people. For some odd reason, everyone or at least the people on my teams seem to think that split pushing is the only way to win. It's so frustrating really. Too many people watching youtube/esports/streamers.

I get it, split pushing is a winning strategy. I get it. But usually that's with practice and co-ordination. Yknow, not low elo silver players.

And I'm not bagging on people watching youtube videos. I just hate it when they try to emulate it without fully grasping what is actually going on. No, don't build no experimental builds. Stick to the meta. Fuck Solwolf and his break the meta videos. What pro team is he on? Exactly. Or trying to explain to people why streamers aren't better than actual pro players. "Bro, Gosu is the best ADC in the world" Bro, gosu isn't. He's not even top ten. "But bro his VAYNE MECHANICS OMG SO GODLY" Don't mean shit in actual pro play. Sure, he'd stomp me and everyone I know and love. But tell him take that shit to SKT Bang and watch Bang throat fuck him for trying it.

Okay, phew. /End rant

Pretty sure low elo is world class at grouping and playing aram for 20minutes

Honestly, I found Silver consisted of both teams constantly grouping around random objectives.

The games were essentially ARAM after laning phase ended.

Are you pro? Are you getting 400+ Cs a game? If not, maybe you don't know as much as you think. Metas are great at high elo because the champions are distinctly stronger than others when played right. But it's better to have someone play their mastery 7 twitch with a blitzcrank than first time an ashe and miss fortune because "that's what the pros do"

Nononono. Don't get me wrong. I'm not against someone using their "strong" pick. I hate when people do that shit they see on youtube because "___ Did this on his channel and it worked."

Oh, gotcha. Especially brofresco since his games are customs where he has diamonds on his team against bronze players.

I mean, I'd assume so, but I don't really know for sure.

As a top laner, I hate grouping before 25 minutes, and I'm not big on it afterwards. Once we group, the mid laner and ADC get all the farm so if we group before I've had a chance to farm up then I'm weak af. So from my stand point I usually want to lane as long as possible and then start team fighting once I'm actually strong. I hate when players feel like they need to constantly fight. I'll have games where I have a lead top lane, made a nice TP play, return to top lane only to have my team take multiple fights that they don't need to and then the rest of their team just snowballs out of control.

LMAO this thread. Low elo players group too much. They play league like it's a free for all death match. That's why split pushing is so effective in low elo.
