Mains and Roles

So I am unranked. I'm level 17 when I'm writing this and I really like this game. I wanna keep on going and see how far up the ELO ladder I can climb but the first thing is if you want to do that; I need a main and a main role! I'm so stuck on this one question. I like getting kills but I also want to be safe. I tried ADC/Marksmen role and top role which I didn't like. I am definitely not going to be a jungle main because everyone hates me when I do it so that leaves me to Mid and Support. I love both roles so much but I am just stuck. I like to play Braum support and I don't get a lot of kills but I do get a lot of assists. I get barely any deaths so that's one benefit. But the other thing is I want to carry the game. I want to be that one tryhard who gets a lot of kills. I like to play Zed but I feel a little too unsafe. The thing I loooove about mid laners is that they can carry the game. I'm just too tied up in this bundle of choices. If you guys feel me or have had this one situation before tell me about it and what you suggest for me!
