I AFK'd from my First Game

I have played this game since season 1 and have never AFK'd from a game except once where my power went out.

Today I just couldn't take how bad the game is anymore.

I was playing Renekton Top vs Camille. They had Rengar jungle. I warded tri bush at 2 min, was halfway into my lane, got ganked and had to flash. Rengar didn't even touch me, Camille just deleted my ass with Comet W cheese and her broken passive. I walked back into lane, get instantly ganked and die.

Ok it happens. Keep my head up.

I walk back to lane and buy a long sword, wave is pushing towards me so I'm in a good spot. Camille TPs back in. I'm just out from under my tower maybe 2 steps. Camille E's on top of me, i decide to trade and E out, before I E Rengar flashes over the wall and I'm not even joking I got instantly Deleted by the two of them. Camilles Q just nuked me on top of Rengar. Couldn't even react fast enough and idk what I could of done tbh.

Damn this really sucks. I get back to lane, I am level 4 and Camille is level 6. This is not even a slight exaggeration Camille dove me the second her wave hit my tower and 100-0 deleted me and got out.

At this point, I apologized to my team for feeding and that i just couldn't play this anymore and closed me laptop.

I honestly just cannot play this game anymore. It is so disgusting.

I'm sure ill get that "no you were just bad and get rekt" comments and thats fine, everybody has their opinion.

I play league and i just haven't had fun playing it in over two years. I just play it because it is there and im used to it, but the game has gotten so bad.

Im sure ill get tons of downvotes and thats fine I just needed to vent my frustrations.

P.S. I apologize to whoever was in my game. I feel bad and am sorry that i went AFK.

Considering ive done it once in 8 years I would say thats better then 99 percent of the population

Shit happens. Don't worry about it.

Trust me, I play Overwatch, and I know what it's like to spend an entire game thinking, "What's the counterplay to this? What can I actually do? Can I actually do anything? Why tf is this a part of the game?"

I started playing a lot of Overwatch as a replacement for LoL recently and I like Overwatch SO MUCH better rn...

I tried to get into Overwatch to replace LoL but I just couldn't handle their meta and how it tended to stay the same with no update for so long. I know League also has that problem with its meta but at least they make some adjustment here and there occasionally. Even if it feels like it doesn't tackle most of the main problems that is.

Actually, I tend to blame Riot here (yeah, yell at me for that). Towers are so shitty right now, you are nowehre safe if behind. And although it was wrong for you going AFK, I understand your desperation. It's that "ff15 pls" moment we all know. Maybe lane swap would have been an option, but I don't have enough infornation on your game to judge.

What if turrets dealt 40% more damage to champions in the first ten minutes or so? Or maybe applied a font of life debuff to enemy champions.

There should be a mechanic that in the early game, tower dives are always all ins. Maybe a grounding debuff on the diver or something. But it's really tough to say. The root cause is the power creep introduced with Runes Reforged, so maybe it would also be an option to cut down all divers' damage output in half or something.

Perhaps they can apply Poppy anti-mobility field here whenever an allied champion is within a certain range of the turret, like 100. So if they are literally hugging the turret, then they are fine.
