League of Legends objectives

Am I the only one here that feels annoyed when the one kid on my team squeals about late game objectives? I mean, YES. I know that towers are up and need to be broken, but kills are VERY essential to getting towers. Im not the best LoL player, but i Know that i am almost ALWAYS one of the 1-3 people on my team that DOESNT feed. When the enemy team is up, teamfights are essential, and YES. split pushing is a good method, but when you have a 6/12 ahri and a 0/11 tristana on your team, you cant really win the battles as an 8/2 Rumble. late game, after teamfights where the feeders run in and die, and blame it on us, one of them complained about us not getting objectives. THEY didnt get objectives either. they had just jumped into a 2v4 as shut down squishies, then blaming it on us. a LOT of games that I play, i see this happen. people DO need to focus on objectives, but if half your team feeds, then its not like we can just waltz in and take towers. Sorry for my rant, but i need some opinions :P This bothers me SO much

Actually unless you are getting INCREDIBLY fed, CS generally outweighs kills as a primary gold source. Look at many high Elo and LCS games, and alot of times there are < 10 or 12 kills between BOTH the teams. That laner who farms 8-10 cs/minute will still get more gold late game than the guy who has 6 kills but 80cs the entire game.

Gold leads to winning fights (which does not necessarily mean KILLING your opponent) which leads to taking objectives, which leads to winning.

not sure why, but its hard to convince people that gold from creeps is easier to get than gold from champions...in real life everybody wants the easy money...in lol, they want to do it the hard way, go figure

Pro tip:

A Vlad 0/0/0 with 150 CS at 15 mins is worth the same as a 5/0/0 Akali with 100 CS

If your team is behind, it is better to not fight and try to take objectives. Employ hit-and-run tactics to make the other team run around the map, reacting to your sporadic pushes. If you can do it right, you can stall out the game long enough to catch up and come back for the win. Objectives win games, kills can lead to objectives.

The conundrum....

can you win a game going 50-0-35 if you never destroy a single tower?

can you win a game if you destroy all towers and inhibitors and never get a single kill?

if you can correctly answer these questions, you will have a greater understanding of the game.

good luck, and godspeed

Well, sure, but its difficult to get towers without kills. and to clear things up, i mean CS too. Getting CS is one of the things apparently (in their minds) isnt worth it. Im just saying that teamfights are an important part of the game, and getting towers and making your tactics would be a whole lot easier without fed enemies to deal with. Especially when the "hit an run tactics" involve the shut down adc or whoever, not being able to escape because the havent bought boots 20 minutes in. The point was that getting levels and xp (kills and cs) rival the importance of getting towers. if im not farming at all, and just pushing towers, then how am i supposed to win. THATS my argument. Discuss, please.
