I really thank you riot for bringing back item sets, but...

why are we limited to 20 sets?? i almost lost half of my itemsets... we have more that 130 UNIQUE champions... but only 20 item sets. the people who used item sets used them to remember what items to build as the played a lot of champs...

pls riot, remove the cap.

Riot seems to like limiting things even though the champion roster is so huge. (20 mastery pages, 20 rune pages, 20 item sets) It's easy to make standard run of the mill set ups that can fill any character's intended position/purpose but still feels like there's a limitation to experimentation.

Weird. I have 26, but I can't add any.

I am truly disappointed with how they implemented it though. They tried to put it in a tiny area AND have a lot of empty space, so it's like you're on a page with 500% zoom. There should be a minimum of 6 items in a row, I wish there was a feature for you to add comments besides titles, it actually has less features than the old one........

I'm going to continue using the online tool by Cadrach, since he made a better tool in a few days than Riot could make in months.

At least we get our item sets back. It's a start. 20 is still better than 0.

To be fair you shouldnt need that many, I mean you can fit a lot items in one set for x amount of champions.

First the like 10% of people that actually use the sets get them put in the new client, now people claim they use them on MORE than 20 champs?????

If this is supposed to be a seriously competitive game then it should be possible to have more than 1 item set for each and every champion.

But... 20 item sets is a big improvement over 0! Progress... even though I can't imagine whatever the logic behind capping us at 20 sets is supposed to be.

If i had to guess the sets are saved server side and that's why they would have a cap. Pretty dumb though considering the old system allowed you to have as many as you want. They were saved client side back then anyway as far as i know and there weren't any problems at all to my knowledge.

You could, like, use an AP set for the typical mages... and so on. There isn't a champion who is going to require the entire item set page for its items.

because you can put multiple champions on each set, so you can have a ''Crit ADC'' set which includes them all, an ''AD Assasain'' which includes all of them etc and you na have a few just for ''insert main here''

build paths are pretty standard on most types of champions.

Should only main 1-3 champions anyways. Unless youre SKT Huni and have mastered every champion, I dont see the point in having 130 item sets.

I had over 50 Item sets.... REALLY annoying to sit there and have to delete the majority of them and restructure how I set up my item sets. Right now, any champs I have multiple builds for I had to group up into one page, partly defeating the purpose of having the item sets (which is for quick access to certain builds). I'm happy they're back but this is a HUGE set back compared to before. No one likes the 20 page limit on anything. Why even have the limits?

ModKnightsKemplar6/3/2017, 2:22:52 AM1 votes

20 sets are plenty for me. I only use them on champs that I play often, because it's annoying to browse the shop when I know exactly what I want.

When I don't, it honestly doesn't matter. I'll have to think about it either way. An item set isn't supposed to be a way to circumvent thinking about what to build. I don't agree with the top poster that Riot is trying to force ppl to build effectively (which is what I think he meant), but I don't see how more than 20 could possibly do me any good.

Not an attack on ppl who want them. You asked for votes, though, so there's my two cents.
