so i have been gaining lee sinLeeSin for a while now and ill admit it, I've had a few shocking games where I've gone 2/7/3 or something. but I've also had games where I've gone 11/1/5 with 171 cs and still got an A. i get the feeling that riot hates me haha. can someone please summarise how to get an S or above with lee plz?

The better players do on any given champ, the harder it is to S on them. Loaded champs tend to be a lot harder to S in, especially popular mains. So because so many Lee Sin mains, people on average do better with Lee Sin (also he is powerful) so in order to land that far above average, it's just that much harder.

At least that's my understanding of it.

The flip side is the same. If you play an almost never played champion, the only others playing it main them even though they're weak. So pulling an S on a champion like Rumble in the jungle for example takes a lot of practice as you're essentially going up against people that play a ton of rumble in the jungle, so you have to get the nuanced play down. (little guy took me forever, but when I hit stride I was landing some good ratings and almost wanted to keep going).

By the same token, champions that recently got nerfed, or indirectly nerfed (like Amumu) can be super hard to S+ in. I needed 1 on him for my last mastery when the JG changed and they buffed mana items for everyone but Amumu. I was really bummed out that I didn't get an S+ while I could. It took me a lonnng time to get that last S+ and it was in ARAM IIRC.

For whatever reason, Rito put huge emphasis on CS for grades for jungler even though not all junglers CS the same.

I find that you can get an S on almost any champ just by doing these things:

-Have a positive KDA (you can even go like 3/2/8). -Last hit turrets, try to get at least 3 turret take downs. -get a good vision score (drop at least 2 control wards and you are probably good) -FARM, FARM, FARM

You can pretty just ignore your team and just AFK farm and if you get over 250 cs on a jungler it is almost always an S for me.

I went like 10/1/8 and carried my team to a win on Skarner and just because my CS was only like 150 I only got an A. I did a game where I went 2/1/10, but had like 280 CS (my kill part wasn't even very good) and I got an S. I went 16/1/14 on Karthus and got an A+, I am like wtf? What do you have to do?

Unfortunately, grades do not always match that you were a good teammate. Riot needs to redo the weights, or reconsider how they grade people.
