MMR, solo/duo, flex queue?

how are we suppose to get our mmr higher for the ranked season when you dont even have a option for solo/duo queue. i dont want to deal with 2 different queues. kinda stupid to cut the ranked players in half on different queues and make the queue times even longer lol.
