Do you like Aphelios?

Nah. I don't like the champion for the following reasons:

• He's overloaded
• Doesn't seem to have counterplay
• He's design by certainlyt (a designer I personally dislike very much to say the least). I never treat his champions fairly even before their release to live servers due to how it's so typical for each champ to be a balance nightmare and causing a ton of frustration (even if you stomp them, you still feel like shit).

He is hard to play, which I like. Because it makes me feel more satisfied when I get the hang of his kit

Aesthetically and thematically: Yes, the stylish moon monk who gets weapons delivered by his twin sister sitting in a temple is quite cool.

Gameplay and kit: No, he is a typical CertainlyT design. This guy mostly just cares for what is fun for the user of the champion and doesn't give any fucks if it is balanced and does feel fair for the enemy. He also tends to bend any champion interaction that could have a negative impact on his champion to favour his own creation (example: initially, Morgana's shield didn't prevent the sleep effect from Zoe, if she didn't shield the initial spell impact)

I also hold a personal grudge against Aphelios, since they scrapped yet another Piltovan champion design for him. I am pretty annoyed that Riot keeps doing this, starting to pitch a champion idea for Piltover or Zaun, then reworking them to fit into another region. Piltover gets heavily neglected when it comes to new champion releases and getting one cancelled to fit them into Mount Targon instead kinda upset me...

He looks like a lot of fun

He also looks like a riven/Yasuo style character... Kind of takes over the game for better or worse.

i only like him when i have my fav weapons aligned.
