blue ez vs adc ez vs ap ez

use adc build when you're playing adc straight up. ap when you're doing a mid or strange bottom combo. use blue when your opponent uses yellow as that will make green and green is good.

First, you can't change this in game, you kinda have to commit to a build at the start of a game. Blue ezreal is full poke/kiting, ADC ezreal is higher DPS at the expense of range and kiting power, AP is burstier with low sustained damage

I don't play ADC, but from what I've read, Blue Ez seems to be OP at the moment, provided your team adapt to this rather niche play style (and that's not a given, sometimes teammates don't know how to react to uncommon stuff... Morde bot is easy, but finding a good team for Morde bot is hard :'( ). Take it with a grain of salt, I'm just repeating what other people said.

Then between AD vs AP, it depends on what your team need. If you have a full AD team, it's better if you go AP, but if you have an AP mid, you are probably better going AD. Just preserve a right mix between magic/physical damage, or your enemies will have an easy time itemizing against you.

Ap Ez mid. Your W will actually do damage.

Blue build takes so long before its any good though. A standard + gives you cooldowns, high damage, and is a much quicker power spike.

Blue Ezreal works mid and bot but you have to play safe until you get all three core items being manamune, lucidity, and iceborn. Thats a long time. Also you sacrifice a lot of damage so try to not get a support that goes in a lot. Nuatalis and Leona types.

ADC Ezreal. Only works bot because you have no self peel. (guessing you mean crit ez) It's pretty strong and a decent choice still mainly because Ezreal already is safe but adding damage and cdr to it makes it a nightmare for enemies. Your early is eh okay. Mid game is where you shine and have to make it count or you're going to suck. Late game Ezreal's are not good in teamfights unless they're ahead OR you're ap ezreal which I will get to. Basically with crit ez grab a Essence reaver asap and then grab tier one boots and complete trinity force. Then grab a vamp scepter and finish beserkers greaves and the rush I.E. Then start running that vamp scepter into a BT. Grab either a Last Whisper choice at the end against armor ABOVE 40 BONUS ARMOR CHAMPIONS REMEMBER THIS or grab the lord doms or the other one to stop them from lifestealing back to life. Such as fighting a Vlad Voli Aatrox or a Kalista stacking lifesteal. If they're not doing either of those or you're just really ahead grab a QSS then into a merc sword thingy. And you'll be set. Or if you have good peel and a GREAT front line + a lulu. Grab a stattik shiv or rapid fire. Stattik is overall better on Ezreal though. It's just your preference. The reason I say this is because you can deal AoE burst damage to the back line with a good Q. It's pretty cool.

AP Ezreal. Works only mid for reasons I'll get into. You can either play cdr ap ez or full ap burst ezreal. I prefer burst ezreal for obvious reasons. I don't miss. Now to play cdr ezreal here is the build: Rush a lichbane by grabbing a sheen first then either blasting wand or aether wisp. Then first tier boots. Start building into morellonomicon. I suggest grabbing a forbidden idol for starting building this ap ez build cause unless you can manage your mana you'll need this. If you don't then just grab a cdr book (fiendish codex) then build the rest of the item grabbing priorities first. After that if you DONT have cdr per level blue runes (6cdr per lvl runes will give 10% with mastery at lvl 18 you should have 45% cdr) IF YOU DONT HAVE THE RUNES just grab lucidity boots. If you DO HAVE them just buy sorcerers shoes WHICH I PREFER magic pen is very valuable late game. With sorcerers and if you have the runes you should have full magic pen reds and 3 magic pen blues with 6 cdr per level blues and hp per level yellow or armor yellows. Also, always get flat ap quints on any ap person. After the boots and the runes. Rush either Zhonya's or Rabadon's Zhonyas against any assassin or ap if you're stomping Whichever you buy first get the other second or if you're against a enemy team with low engage swap the zhonyas with a ludens. It'll grant all the movement speed and burst you love. Then grab a Void Staff and you're set. With burst Ezreal you get the same runes I mentioned above just because they're so good in general that I always recommend them for an ap caster. Anyway all you have to do on burst ezreal is grab Lich/Sorc.Boots/Rabadons/Ludens/Zhonyas/VoidStaff. Straight flat damage. I only reccomend this one if you can manage mana really well. Side not for playing either AP ezreals is that you grab Q first then W then E. Swap E/W if you need an early escape tool. ALWAYS MAX W first. It's your main damage and trading tool with ap. Not Q. A lot of people max Q W E on ap ezreal and it makes me want to punch someone. Why build ap ezreal if you're not going to use his W which has one of the highest base damages for a basic ability in the game around 250 rank 5. Grab Q first for waveclear and always auto attack the minions 24/7 or you'll get pushed in and miss farm. W to trade around lvl 5 (its weak early and a waste of mana to use to trade early) max W then E then Q and R whenever its open.

Just a note for all the ezreal choices when you ult make sure you try to hit the squishy FIRST because minions/tanks/ect will lower the damage tremendously especially if you're ap ezreal. When in lane as AP ezreal and you get your ult and you're already pushed up and the enemy is farming walk behind and slightly around the side to ult to hit them directly for about 400 hp damage early game. Which is really helpful cause if you can w them away from minions later you can land your E on them and Q and auto/ignite to kill them. ANOTHER IMPORTANT FACTOR MAKE SURE YOUR TEAM PINGS WHEN THEY'RE BACKING IN LANE. ITS FREE KILLS BACK UP AND FIRE AROUND THEIR TOWER!!! It's free gold take the chance of a 50 second ult bot lane and grab some potential kills. Your ult is about 50 seconds early if you Q a lot with the cd bonus.

Now get out there and start sniping.

Ap ez is one of the most fun champions you'll ever play... Early game is garbage but end game, with enough items tho, an ultimate will legit do 3/4 health lol

I've played a ton of AP ezreal mid. You go lichbane into ludens. by then itll be around 20 mins and your poke is insane. Buy items that you think are worth it for that game, i dont bother with tear on ap ezreal, lich into ludens, so contesting turrets or dragon objectives around 20 mins, you are actually relevant.
