Do you think the new balances on the assassin champs were good?

I think they werent exactly good to help some champs, but overall I think they work really well for many champs like Talon.

Talon is fun, although annoying in Acsension (because of how small the map is) but literally everything else is a failure.

Kha Zix's invisibility is heck strong and hard to chase. Akali is literally the exact same, broken and OP with GunBlade Haven't seen Shaco yet. Fizz is totally bs. I keep getting one shotted from a champ that I have enough MR to at least ult him. Rengar is great! If you enjoy having your cc being canceld (I swear if that cancels Ahri's charm) LeBlanc passive is not needed. Stupid 3 hit passive. Really creative Riot. Zed I feel like is the same. Same with Ekko Katarina-- I haven't fought against too many Kats but with the ones I have played with, they have said the combo is the EXACT SAME and the rework is more of a buff because you can get two spinning blades in place of one.

I think Riot needs to stop and analyze the assassin class as a whole and wonder what is the problem. Or maybe listen to the players and stop having Kat getting her a reset upon kill or Akali not costing energy when she ults.

Kha isn't a failure they just need Evolved E to isolate units for 2 seconds and nerf Empowered Q properly. Overall it works well but he does too much in a 1v1 more than ever. But the stealth is really fine tbh it has proper points of power.

Akali will hopefully be properly addressed in her relaunch but nothing HOT atm(shots fired at a certain player xD)

AD Shaco only got damage nerfs and rank 1 stealth hit, I'm not worried cause damage is easily fixable and rank 1 stealth can be increased to a manageable 2 seconds rank 1 and scale per level instead of rank to address their balance issue of stealth gap closers.

Fizz takes more to play now imo. Properly gated and moments of power well expressed. Feels like him+kat just need more time to practice to me.

Rengar's wasn't a failure but keeping bonetooth is. He can't actually reactively cancel CC if he jumps on you, you still have plenty of time to CC him. But bonetooth again as it has since release is breaking him. His new kit is entirely fine aside from it.... Shame they still won't just give him his own version of kha evolution, even fits his hunter theme still...

LB isn't a 3 hit, if anything it actually needs a lower cook time per level down to 1 second late game. Her rework addressed her issues fully.

So I really don't believe anyone except akali, who's planned for a relaunch, was a failure. That's why I assumed it was a joke :P

Was I exaggerating? Yes. Did I mean Akali and Rengar are more so questionable a failure, yes. It was more of a hyperbole then a joke but you caught it... somewhat.

Also, my apologies for LeBlanc and her Passive. That was just Talon. I forget the specifics of a champion that I care only the abilities of. Does explain how her burst is so good.

Nah DW about it, just wanted to say my thoughts on the fails......Still questionable on why they didn't just admit olaf'ing akali until her relaunch though.... Sure she's a balance nightmare but they didn't have to do her like this...

Mind reminding me what olaf'ing is? I have heard the phrase from Jeremy "Gaming Curious" But I do not feel like finding which video it is. What does that term mean again?

Olaf'ing is refering to when olaf was in power due to his base kit's incredible power on top of his ulti just rejecting to be CC'd thus causing him to be nuked from orbit with nerfs until riot could think of what to do with him. I witnessed it but it's really been a long time, I think stonewall08 talked about it, but not in-depth.

Think it's a balance history league of memes video or something like that.

All of them except akali were great,just need followup tweaks and they're good 2 go.

People keep acting like these are the final product is pretty annoying :P

Also I'm not worried for akali since these are placeholder until her relaunch.

They aren't supposed to be doing anything to help the champs balance, that's not the point at all. It's a gameplay update not a balance update. Balance will come over time. They of course will make some minimal effort to not make them stupidly weak or strong on release but the real balance was never the goal, just to make the mechanics feel better and more satisfying for everyone involved.

You say gameplay update but we there are other champions who are even more need of a gameplay update (Oh, hey Urgot! We weren't talking about you behind your back. No.) I think we can both agree that these assassins were not in need of a gameplay update, as much as the assassin group was. But what about Yi? Or Nocturne (Wait... allow me to double check him. Confirmed assassin). Oh and hey Evelynn. I am thoroughly surprised you didn't get change this time around. (But I hear you are changing in 2017. So you are not being updated as an assassin but as an individual champion).
