DON'T EVER REROLL SKINS, SELL THEM FOR ESSENCE! I rerolled 1 legendary skin and 2 traditional and that reroll give me 100 ESSENCE!

it's not supposed to be totally random though.

They said rerolling will always give you a permanent that you can use.

This is not true. It will give you permanent "unowned" content. This means you can get skins for champions you don't own.

Never reroll skin shards.

General rule of hextech crafting IMO is reroll skins worth 175 essence, maybe the next tier up (225?) if you need an extra to reroll 2 175's... Everything else disenchant or upgrade.

Also I've never gotten an empty chest with just essence from rerolling - you're guaranteed a skin you don't have are you sure you didn't miss the dialog/popup? Should submit a ticket if its true cause rerolling 3 is supposed to GUARANTEE a permanent skin you don't own

the essence is a bonus, you still get a random skin... go check under your purchases in the store. whatever is 0 rp is what you got.

yep, cheap skins could yield a legendary at the same rate expensive skins could... That's why you follow 175 essence (some exceptions for the 225ish range or w/e) rerolls everything else DE

Indeed - but I was talking pretty much just about when and what you should reroll if you're determined to reroll... But that 175 if you disenchant all your higher ones should be a small drop in a bucket, but the need does arise and its something to keep in mind
