Well, it sounds... interesting, I guess. I worry that it might just be -too- unexciting, though.

Come to think of it, why don't they just rerelease URF alongside this? I know a lot of people were looking forward to URF.

Could be, But in a sense, that mode could work. It would basically be an interesting twist to the game. Slower instead of faster, with CC being a lot more important. More bursty probably. The biggest downside is that people expect URF. Maybe both?

Slower gameplay would suck, i already think when some game go over 40 min it's too long ... so imagine if all of these were slower and a game of NURF was 1 hour ... would suck man so much i hope it's a joke like everyone does cause if they do this they will geta lot of hate ...

Though her abilities are reset by a flat amount so for some abilities she'll still have 5-10 seconds. On Yi it's 70% so it will increase with the cooldowns.

I'm pretty worried about it.....I guess we will have to wait and see. URF was amazing. NURF might...not be that way. And there were friends who missed URF last year that were looking forward to it this year.

I only played one bot match (for the icon, silly me) and then WAY afterwards, I saw how much fun it was in PVP and with other champions... So I was really sad. This one looks pretty interesting... I'm still looking forward to it!

If you increase stun times and damage massively in addition to this it would basically be dota.

Just imagine if fiddle fear was 7 seconds in that mode.

Well,it's technically just a buff.No indication of a full gamemode about this. Hell,it's possible it could be a ~~nerf~~ buff in URF mode.After doing something,you receive this NURF buff.

Or it could be a full game mode,who knows?

Well, considering that you can't even move with that +225 Movement Speed Reduction. And I can only imagine that +200% Delay between basic attacks would make taking turrets virtually impossible. So . . . April Fools?

This sounds like a lot of 5/6 minute teamfights and winions doing more pushing than their champions ahahahah. Also seems like tanks would be hella popular and annoying, as this would probably force people to trade like bruisers the majority of engages.

That would be incredibly dumb, because the people who have the urf buff will, for a fact, win. If what you said ends up being true, then matches will only last like 5 minutes, because the team with the nurf buff has absolutely no chance of winning at all. People would afk and rage and the whole thing would just be boring, even for the team that got the urf buff.

I have done some thinking about this mode and read some more of the comments and i have to say that yes this is an april fools joke just like URF mode was but it will probably be the new game mode.

What many probably have not thought about is the fact that this will probably also be played on the Howling Abyss so to stop 2 hour matches.

I'm a little confused about the Crit rules (150% of its attacks?), and I'm pretty sure the last two were just supposed to be cheeky. But I think this sounds kind of funny. I'm game. :D

So this mode basically entails that:

Resource based spell casters are gutted
Spell casters who rely on spamming abilities are hurt in particular
Everyone gets hit by every single skill shot (Mobility 300% more OP)
ADCs have almost no DPS
Anyone who wants to deal damage needs an IE

TL;DR: Yasuo mode. No resource, spells that have only a few second cooldown even when tripled, infinite mobility, and a ton of burst.

Also, nobody takes flash. EVER. 10 minute cooldown on a tiny little blink? Yeah, not taking that over ghost or heal or something else.

EDIT: On-hits will be broken as heck. AP Varus FTW!

I don't think Riot would make it this obvious. Nobody was expecting URF when it first came out, but Riot isn't going to hurt its reputation by making the shittiest gamemode in existence. I'm pretty doubtful that Riot will follow through on this.

This would not be fun at all. The fun of URF was all the goofy stuff you could do with hyper buffed champions. NURF would have you doing the same thing except the pool of champions would be way smaller. Like why would you ever play Vayne? All ADC champions would be ruined. TANKS would be god. Just stack hp and defenses since they aren't affected. You could literally just destroy everyone because they would be unable to actually kill them. This better be a joke, or it will be the worse mode..No worst IDEA Riot has ever conceived of.

I hope it's a joke, but I would like to see them do another C9 vs TSM game in this mode just to get people going. I just think that would make the joke all the better.

So, RIP ADCs and mages. Assassins will still assasinate, since ability damage isn't being touched. They just won't be able to do it every 10 seconds like normal. Ability resets and very fast cooldowns will be OP as hell. Welcome to League of Katarina.

CC rules. Anti-tenacity and slow movement speeds will make CC utterly broken unless you have a low-CD dash/jump/etc.

The wording on crits is really confusing and unclear. How exactly do you get 150% of your AAs to crit? Is this supposed to mean everyone starts with 50% crit chance?

50% crit damage; does this mean every crit reduces your damage by 50%? OR that crits will only deal 50% bonus damage, instead of the normal 100%? If champs all start with 50% crit chance, then Yasuo is going to be hilariously OP because 100% crits and dashes from level 1.

Tanks with strong CC and high health regen will simply never die. Jungle will be completely impossible.
