Where does the myth that Fizz needs his ult to kill people come from?
I see many people say that if you dodge his ult, he can not kill you.

It's true early on. Not so much if he's fed/lategame.
And it's more, dodge his shark and kill him while it's down using your own ultimate. Something that isn't limited to Fizz.
His E does just the same amount of dmg as any other abilites (240+0.7AP) His Q does the same amount of dmg as any other lvl 1 ability (60+ 0.6 AP) His W (10+0.25 AP) needs at least 3 AA to break even with other direct-dmg.
Mathematically, he'd pull less DPS than Annie/Leblanc/Ahri/Kat/Akali/Liss/Syndra/etc/ If you lost to him without his R I doubt you have any luck with other AP.
How is offensive E a suicide? Are you people stupid?
All he needs to do is use it against any ability you use and then hit you with it, there he just dodged an ability and used it offensively.
It's like you all play with Bronze 5 Fizz.
I think they may mean that he won't kill you guaranteed, and can get away. Shark kinda just means you are probably dead when it's on.
