Coming from smite to LOL, Character comparisons.

So i have played Smite on playstation, but now that i have a pc again, i am starting LoL to play with friends. What i would like to know is what characters might play generally similar to some of my main Smite characters. My top five Gods in smite are:

Artio Ballona Nike Jing Wei Kuzenbo

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Humm… You like some from shifters eh. Elise Jayce Nidalee All have 2 sets of abilitys like Artio but none of them really play like her to much. All of them have much higher range in their ranged form.

Kuzenbo has some overlap with Rammus . Ram has no ranged ability or minions but he does taunt, does have aoe damage, and does have a defensive steroid that reflects back damage.

JarvanIV for Ballona, mostly because he can gap close and leaves a flag buff when doing so, His AOE is a lot weaker then heres but his 1v1 is pretty solid.

I hate nike… never bothered learning her So cant help.

Jing Wei...the bird lady hunter if I remember. No one really has her passive in league, No one really has her 1 spell eather. but if you want mobile ranged auto attackers. Lucian Vayne both have mobility on pretty short Cds.

Im a mage player myself. Nox, Baron, Au Puch, Hera. Jungle serqet every now and then. Far as hunters go... Ah Muzen Cab is my favorite thou occasionally I roll with cupid. I tried to learn Set but im garbage at him so I probably wont bother.

Of the two games I enjoy league a lot more but they both are fun to play.

Edit. Annie Garen Ashe Warwick Nocturne Pantheon Vi Volibear MonkeyKing Are all pretty newbie friendly champions, in that they have low skill floors. But players do know their kits and will abuse you once you start doing draft or run into any smurfs. If your looking to get good at mechanics some higher difficulty champions teach them pretty well. Xerath for anticipation and landing smaller skillshots. You fail on him if you wiff abilitys. TwistedFate is good for map awareness, So is Pantheon . TF provides vision so you can learn enemy positions and get a feel where players are on the map when you cast it. Low awareness and your going to Feed hella and also fail your Ganks a lot. Not super strong in the game at the moment overall so theres that. Also. Alistar is a good option to learn how to chain CC but as a moba player you already should understand the concept so... eh. So good mechanic learning champs there but awfull for newbie experience as your likely not just going to lose games but get flamed for doing it.

i mean... you have a ton of options and honestly you might just be telling the op about wayyyyy too many champs.

jing is about getting to the front lines quicker and plays like an adc, but isn't really an effective adc. i'd argue that in league jing wei would be miss fortune, but not really.

nike would be similar to a combination of kayn, kayle, and jarvan, but there really isn't anyone like her particularly. i mean... maybe xin zhao or rengar?

balogney is probably most like udyr.

Kinda wanted to give them 2 lists. The newbie friendly champions and the ones that answered his question. I get carried away and go way to deep into details pretty always. >.>

Thanks for the help Black Realm.

So Im looking at the ones mentioned in these responses, and several of these look really promising. Rammus and Jarvan especially look good. Thank you all very much, and if anyone else has any suggestions I will be sure to check them out.
