I played for couple weeks now and i notice he isnt that good i played against a lucian,jinx even a kog'maw and got destroy does anyone know a build to destroy squishies

Varus is currently a situational adc pick who is a great counter towards vayne and I consider a good mid pick for certain match ups such as Azir or Heimerdringer

His role is more as an poke-artillery adc, artillery being a champ like Ziggs or Xerath . The only way you make his kit feel more bursty is if you build him AP to utilize his W passive. Otherwise, your main source of damage is getting 3 stacks on people then popping the stacks with Q or E,

if you're going midartillery, you want HIGH AD with cooldowns and little atk sped, maybe just item 3142 and item 3006 for atk speed. item 3158 are ok as well if you want to max cdr on some builds you will probably want a item 3004 or item 3508 for mana, possibly even both if you're really mana hungry, though i would say more reaver because it has cdr. item 3071 is also good for cdr, hp, atk, the phage passive, and armor shredding.

marksman varus usually more traditional marksman build. a lifestael item, IE, some atk speed items (varying)

mage varus usually some core items like nashor's tooth, and rabadons, very likely zhonyas. rest can be mildly situational. NOTE: ap varus is rare and relies a LOT on stacks, i don't think mage varus has ever been meta at all or near, it's more like a "i know how to do this and I know what it's good for" pick
