Azir Roaming Support

So, after looking at Azir streams, I concluded he doesn't fit into the meta. But, after some thinking, I think a roaming support is optimal for Azir. azir's soldiers provide good lane pressure, and i think its a waste to use it only on 1 lane. This makes support junglers, like nunu and azir, the fotm. As a tradeoff, support reliant adcs will fall out of the meta. Trist and lucian will be pick or ban tier. This gives a huge lane presence boost to all 3 lanes, and nerfs the mid lane by locking the plays that they can make, because the 2 junglers can ambush at any time. Am i on to something, or am I just ranting?

Im not even lvl 30 yet, so pls dont rage :)

As an Azir main, i've tried this and Azir doesn't have enough CC or utility to really be effective as a support.

Without his ult he only has a mini knockup on his E, and as a squishy mage like Azir, going in like Leona or Thresh to land CC won't really be a good idea. And in lane, his ult isn't easy to use offensively since you have to get behind the target to really get offensive use of it. Its still a great peeling tool. Its just if you want a support who can roam and peel effectively, Janna does all this and better.

Also the lower gold amount you get as a support will hurt in the long run since Azir's damage is all late game focused.

You do know that Azir is horrifically gold reliant right? He can't support by virtue of his need for gold.
