Wasting Money Buying Championship Chests

You know, I was so frustrated when the last time special chests came out, and you had the extra gems or whatever the hell they were at the time, and you refunded them that you only got like 2 essence or some shit. I was like "really riot? 2 essence? give me a break". But now I log on and check my crafting area and they've removed ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the gems i had left over from championship chests??? Are you serious? You couldnt even give ANYTHING for the unused gems????? GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!

They did say that would happen with championship. I do however agree that the 2 orange essence for the Project stuff was pretty silly. It's like, 2 really? Why even bother putting the option for 2 essence. Sort of like in the original Everquest (that's an MMORPG that came out probably before a large portion of League players were born, and certainly before they even were in first grade) where you'd complete a long ass quest and as one person put it "you get 10 silver and a kick in the nuts." for a reward.

I knew of it, but I've never played it(Everquest that is bhaha). Well, I don't recall seeing where they said they were going to screw anyone willing to pay for them, so that's on me I guess. I just feel like even giving as many of the gems as they did was kind of a waste, especially KNOWING they weren't going to compensate you for all the extras! It just seems insane to me.
