I know if you are in gold then you cannot be moved down to silver so long as you play no matter how badly or often you lose. Is this the same with silver. If someone is in silver and still plays the game but loses every game can they be moved down still? I just got moved up to silver to get the rewards but I am not wanting to play ranked risking being moved down to bronze 1 again but if this isn't possible then I can still play? Ask me to explain more if you do not understand.

it is possible happened to me. They need to make a new rank system based more on performance than on team.

You've got it backwards. If you're in Gold, Silver, or Bronze, you won't drop a tier from inactivity (i.e. from not playing). However, you can drop a division (e.g. falling from S1 down to S2) or even a tier (e.g. being demoted from Gold down to Silver) from losing too much.

If you're satisfied with Silver rewards and don't want to risk losing them, don't play ranked until after the season ends.
