Bots in PvP Dominion?

Just played a game of Dominion with my little brother.

3 of our team mates were bots, but we chose PvP Blind.

At first I thought they were just really bad players, but their actions throughout seemed more programmed than anything else.

I was confused to the point of asking the other team if this was a bot game, but it wasn't.

Someone explained to me that this is what a lot of people are doing to farm exp and ip.

Sorry if this is a known issue.

But I assumed if Riot knew about this they would get on top of that immediately as, it essentially makes the game unplayable.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if someone could update me as to what, if anything, might currently be in the works to solve it.

This is indeed a known issue, and Riot IS working on it. They don't talk about their plans visibly, however, because they don't want the people using bot account to know how to bypass the way they're fixing it.

That is the reason it's been so low-profile. Don't fret, hopefully they will find a fix soon.

Yeah, it happens. It's very frustrating. Yeah, Riot knows about it.

As of yet, if they have taken action against it, it's all been invisible to the playerbase.

Welcome to the war, friend.

We need to keep reporting these events and upvoting the reports so Riot gets the message that they need to do something about it - or, if they are already doing something about it, tell us so we know that our concerns are not falling on deaf ears.

The thing is, is that it's Dominion. Riot has a loooooon history of ignoring Dominion and its needs.

That's because when Riot released Dominion, they thought it would be a popular and fun gametype. It was, but the fame was short lived and Dominion has since faded into the back-lines of league, having under 7% of total matches played every day on average. People don't really take too much interest it often, and so its also difficult for Riot to get the information about bugs they need in order to work on a patch.
