Why does blue side have such a huge advantage?

I really despise getting red team, and it seems the majority of my games, especially when I jungle, I end up on red team.

Aside the fact you have be retarded to get ganked as blue side bot, its even harder to die as blue side mid.

The below is from my last 71 Jungle matches in SoloQ (FlexQ is a joke so who cares)

Blue Team 31 Red Team 40

Blue Side Victory 21 Blue Side Defeat 10

Red Side Victory 20 Red Side Defeat 20

I know that's only 80 games, but that's still 56% Red. I will continue to track it, for curiosity's sake but for now, it seems very clear that blue side, at least for me, is a huge advantage; one that should not be left to chance.

Why don't they just make it alternate?

Blue side has control of tribush botlane and is harder to gank top Combine this with the fact that the camera angle for red team is worse than blue for locked camera players and there you have it

Isn't this a known issue that gets compensated by the red team being of slightly higher combined MMR?

Coincidence. I've got 27 wins, 26 losses Blue Side (50.94% Win Rate), but 38 wins, 30 losses Red Side (55.88% Win Rate).

It's not just you, according to league of graphs, blues has a 52.7% winrate vs 47.3% on red.( http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/blue-vs-red/platinum ) It's also worth noteing that every single champ has a higher blueside winrate than redside.
