So, last season i was plat 5 and my friend was silver 2 (talking about solo/duo) so we couldn't play. Now the new season start and we're both unranked and still can't play together, why this happens? Does riot care about last season rank even in placements or it's just a bug?
zenkai45112 votesI think it's sees the massive difference in mmr, and won't let you play together. It also could be like you said it's taking into account that you were plat and your buddy was Silver. Either way I highly doubt it's a bug. I wouldn't want plats + in my placements lol.
