Matchmaking problems.
So. I get that normals is supposed to be fun/not serious/whatever. What I don't get is how it is any fun at all to have thoroughly unbalanced teams again and again, where all of the skill (or the vast majority) is on one side of the playing field. I am consistently seeing matches where the opposing team has a full team of Plat/Gold players and I'm (Bronze by the way--highest last season Silver 4) with a bevy of silver/bronze/unranked players with perhaps a single gold. Of course, we get rolled. To the point where it isn't even remotely fun. It's the equivalent of being the beginner bots versus a team who just wants their WotD. First blood usually happens within 30 seconds of the game starting, and the kills pile on in every lane until about the 19 minute mark, when the game ends. If there's no early surrender, there needs to be fair matchmaking. This is seriously making me want to simply quit LoL and move on to something else.
I don't have a problem with challenging games. I have a problem playing an entire team that thoroughly outmatches every single person on my team, several games in a row. It doesn't help people get better. It simply frustrates them and makes them want to do something else. I have had several friends quit and move on to other MOBAs (like Heroes of the Storm) because of this. I want to play with my friends, and I want League to be an enjoyable and challenging experience. Grabbing a friend and trying to teach them to get better is impossible when he's a lvl 30 bronze and we're laning against plats/golds.
I know I can't be alone in this. Does anyone else feel the same way?
