Why the New Ranked System Does NOT Work

This is my first time posting on the forums, so please cut me some slack in regards to where and how I post because I am new to this, but not new to the game. That being said I obviously find this topic very important.

The recent ranked update allows you to rank up each role individually, which I originally thought was pretty cool. But come on, I like to play jungle and support whenever I get bored of one or the other. Why do I have to rank them both up individually when I'm about the same, skill wise, in both roles.
