Does anybody know if Riot is planning in bringing the Doom Bots game mode back? I loved the challenge of that mode so much >.>

They already know we want Doombots, so with regular speed of Riot Company we may expect it in next year xd

They've said that doom bots is one of the most code heavy modes and it would take a long time to get it back into the game (coughbecausetheydon'twanttogiveuswhatwewantexample1issoloQcough)

the doombots AI is apparently not compatible with the new map, which makes no sense, but considering that most of riots coding seems to be similar to :

There is no doom bot AI. It's regular bots AI. The only difference was they teleported to dragon to kill it. (and even that can't take that long to remake, or remove)

When it takes so long, maybe they want to make more doom champions or improve the mode somehow. And that's ok but they should say that instead. I and other people have been waiting for it 2 years lol.

i dont know, nor care, riots official statement said doombots was incompatible with the new map. i cant comprehend why, but thats what they said.

i cant find it, the official statement was made in a red post i dont recall which rioter made about a week or so after the map changed.

they said there is no copy pasting code, they would have to reprogram all the bots, and it would take a very long time.

this is about as official as its gonna get, it doesnt speak about the map, like i remember it speaking about, but its also not the post i was referring to.

They could disable veigar doom bot then... or fix his Q which wouldn't take more than few minutes. (Just deleting the buff part) Because the current Veigar bot is fine. The bots are still the same as they were in 2014. I think all those fixes like these or changes of bot's item builds wouldn't take more than 1 hour. And they've had years. They made a brand new mode tht seems even more script heavy than doom bots (nexus siege)

its way more than just veigar now, its all the juggernauts and all other champions that had any changes to their abilities, its very likely that the mode requires too much work to keep alive to be worth it.

Which ones? I can only think of maybe malzahar which is disabled in bots too now.
