I was thinking today if it would be possible for riot to create a disc or downloadable version of league of legends for local parties. One that you would pay for and you could run on only a local network for people like me who have poor internet providers. I think it could free up your custom game feature and you could put all your game modes on it like the old dominion. you could sell all the skins in extra packs and things like playstation does and you could have people upgrade it with and update option. You would still have the majority of players that would go online. So question is it possible and can we do it? obviously there would be a lot of details that i may not understand so im just asking.

The majority of the code is kept server side for obvious reasons

because league couldn't catch scripters in a worlds tourney? or because people would remake the game like all the other mobas online? like really league is big enough now that it shouldn't matter. Just like starcraft has a Lan version and it helps people practice and grow and they can do it pvp with friends, it makes it so friends can play and help instead of stomp or carry while the other person learns at a slower rate. It also makes people have to play for lag depending on current cicumstances. Also if it was local you could have people from league send in custom game concepts to riot new online play games after remastered.
