A healthy NEW look on an acceptable reason to ABANDON a game in champ select - HOW TO MAKE IT LEGIT

Hello friends!

I have been running in to a lot of trolls lately, who are really only out there to make guys like me tilt before the game even starts. The problem is, they are my teammates!

Recently, teammates have been banning my champions intentionally. I think it is fair to abandon the game if that is the case without repercussion.

I feel that this can easily be achieved with the current system by implementing 1 additional variable.

You have selected your desired champion before it is banned by TEAMMATES, and then a prompt is drawn up that says instant report teammate? If yes is selected, they get leaverbustered.

To me this is simple, and fair.

Riot, please help make this game enjoyable to the people who like to play by your rules.

oh great i guess the busted champion that last pick wants to play now is picked by the enemy team and we lost because of that. Good a change that will only do good in the game and no bad things whatsover

I just think you shouldn't be able to ban teammates declared champ altogether.

Altogether any argument I’ve heard in favor of banning teammate’s champs has seemed short-sighted as well as inconsiderate. wouldnt mind them getting repercussions for their calculated decision

If last pick wants to pick a broken champion and nobody is willing to trade it, you can bet I'm banning that champion. Very short sighted suggestion and I don't like it at all.

Much as it annoys me when it happens, banning team mates' picks should be allowed, for reasons stated multiple times in this thread. My usual response is to ban their pick, but I don't quit or troll; you can report them after if you want, but it shouldn't give you a free quit. You need to be able to play several champions in each role, in case of bans or counter picks. The only real problem I have with banning someone's pick is people then pretending it's an accident; if the champ has been hovered it's pretty obvious, so by saying it's an accident you say you don't care that someone wanted it and that you think they're stupid. Man/woman up and admit it's because you don't want to see whatever broken OP thing you banned on the Rift against you...
