Hextech loot creats reset?

does anyone know if riot is going to reset the tracking of the chest earned for your champions? I'm running into a problem where i cant get anymore chest because i have to play champions i don't play in order to get a chest which isn't a problem, but to get a chest you or someone in your game has to get a S but that is kinda hard with you playing a champion that you have very little experience with. i am just wondering if they are going to reset it or not.
