We want URF back

Why can´t we get the most favourite gamemode back for longer than just weekend? Everyone i know wants URF/ARURF and a lot of people i saw in discussions want it too. Why doesn´t riot listen to community and give us what we want. They say it´s because people stop playing League after URF, but if they think about it it´s because they removed it. They are not removing other modes they just add one so if someone doesn´t like it he can just play regular modes. 2 days are not enough to have fun with it. Stop killing this game.

EDIT: Maybe at least they should make all game modes available in custom games. So if someone wants to play it with friends or some random people from lol they can.

As much as I love URF, I'd have to disagree with you. URF is a gamemode that has, time and time again, shown to be one of the most rapidly-decaying gamemodes, playrate wise. It's a gamemode that should only be really brought back every now and then.

Sure, there are people that play URF, and only URF, while it's out. But the reason that's a bad idea is because it splits the playerbase. What about the people that play competitively? What about the people that play ARAMs? What about the people that play ordinary normal games? Adding URF permanently to that mix could seriously disrupt the playerbase negatively.

Not only that, it requires Riot to keep another gamemode in check every patch, to make sure nothing breaks. And, as the nature of URF is, is EXTREMELY difficult to do, due to Riot not only having to balance the normal game, but also having to balance a variant of the game that is designed to be broken at its core.

Summary: URF only really works as a treat, something to be brought back every now and then, releasing URF permanently would split the playerbase, and Riot would have to put too many resources into balancing it every patch.

Yup, I logged on and was going to play a game or 2 of Urf... Then Taa daa its gone! You would think that since they screwed up the big clash event then they would keep it up.. I mean it is Memorial Day! You know a holiday where not alot of people work or goto school on this day.. But i guess they want everyone to play Ranked to use us a lab rats for the pro players.. lmao

worked all weekend finally picked up my buddy and logged in to play some arurf with him... greatly disappointing it's still memorial day weekend technically and its teasing me on the home screen.

I am so glad that they made ARURF instead of URF. After a couple of games, URF becomes dull and boring. The same champions getting played over and over. A meta gets established, and people will, like in the other modes, flame you for at pick that isn't in the meta. Also, since if you pick off meta, you will almost always lose, as the champion you picked isn't as powerful as the meta-champions other people picked. I love ARURF because there is no meta. You can not make a meta, it's random. Is it annoying getting picks that you haven't played before? Hell yes it is! But throw that shitty attitude away and try and look for solutions, maybe you'll learn something new about the champion, or just discover how to use him in the gamemode. ARURF is way better than just URF, if you ask me.

I worked my ass off this weekend so I could relax today and enjoy a few ARURF games I'm really disappointed in Riot. I'm going to quit sooner or later, because I need a viable way to release some steam from exhausting days and games. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Was severely disappointed today to find out that they got rid of it. How are they going to remove that game mode on a holiday?? Its getting to the point where I'll only play leagues when they have good game modes like URF

I can't remember where I read it but they said ARURF is coming back in a near future patch with things like trading enabled and some champion disable changes.

The day they disable Fizz Zed Jax is the day ARURF will be a decent game mode imo.

people talking about balancing lol you play aram with people that own a certain amount of champs aka ARAM accounts always getting some OP aram champ all the time. Yet with ARURF somehow its not balanced when the game mode is meant to have fun. Yet they want to be satisfied with the same nonsense we've had for years. We want fun! This game isn't based on everyone playing competitive or trying to be pro lol. This whole clash thing is a joke. Just something where they can make more money off us. Sorry not today ill be back when they have fun game modes where i just sit back and relax. Not have to stress about teammates in rank or tilting. If riot doesn't want people to have fun well that's their loss. It's about the bigger picture having FUN. URF doesn't make them money therefor they are not happy. ITS ALL ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I love urf as much as the next person, arurf isn’t that bad either, but why is it for arurf it feels like out of the 100+ champs the game has, you always see the same 20-30 champs each time

URF makes people realize how unfun the actual game is compared to it. riot intentionally slowly killed URF over the years, and snow ARURF was supposed to be the last.
