@Riot, Non-tilted question about Akali
I'm not an Akali main, but I do play her quite a bit. I know that a main issue with her kit is her true stealth, specifically under turrets. I also know that many akali mains are in favor of removing the feature, as it isn't necessary to play the champion. Since all of the nerfs haven't really done much to help her ban rate, I was wondering what argument the developers at Riot have for keeping this aspect of Akali in the game.
Personally, I can only think of two possibilities. The first is that Akali is weak enough where she needs this mechanic to win games. However, many players disagree with this, and other parts of Akali's kit could be buffed to compensate for visibility to turrets.
The second possibility is that Akali's kit is meant to be annoying. I seriously doubt this is the case, as that goal would probably be better executed (heh) in champion design.
If it's a reason other than these, I'd like to know. I'm not necessarily asking for changes, I'm not angry at Riot for adding this to Akali, And I'm definitely not asking for a revert. I'm honestly just curious.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help answer this.
