Matched Against Higher ELO

Hello all,

Recently, I have been matched over and over against higher ELO players. As an unranked player, when i use websites such as porofessor, or LolKing, too see my opponents stats and match history, I notice that they are often High Plat or even Challenger! When I lose the lane, my teammates are obviously frustrated with me for my performance. I fail to understand why I am not paired against Bronze or even Silver players, compared to the Challenger and Platinum that I currently play against.

I'll add in here that I am currently level 28 and unranked.

That's funny because as a high diamond player I play vs player below level 30, which I do not desire nether. Normal MMR shouldn't be independant of rank, at least at a certain extend.

I had challenger and master players multiple times already. I thought it was because I play at odd hours which is why matchmaking was desparate to put any 10 people together.

The reason for this is your normal MMR. A plat-challenger normal MMR is usually quite low, despite their ranking being high. This is because they do not do normals. Usually around unranked/bronze/silver/pre30 levels.

So you will be placed with them until they play enough to get higher mmr or ranked comes back and they start doing that again.

Thanks for the feedback all, Still looking for a justifiable reason that I'm playing against the top 10% as the bottom 10%.
