Why is there a plat 5 player in my silver 1 ranked game?????

A Plat 5 can easily have Gold MMR. A Silver 1 can easily have Gold MMR. MMR is what is used to match players together.

The problem with tha theory is that their MMR is actually higher then plat 5. According to his stats, mmr, and WR, he had no business being matched with silver. Thier MMR is more than 500MR apart.

But that persons games are from days ago meaning their MMR changed since they played against the OP, who hasn't linked the actual match they played with them.

http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=platinumisaids its 17 games down 25/7/16 irelia . As u can see he is in placements. but go 4 games up and u will see he is placed in plat 5. 11/4/13 aatrox. So he moves from silver 1 mmr to plat 5 mmr in 4 games

You should really be linking it on your account, that way you don't run into issues with the "naming and shaming" rule. You're naming that guy without his permission here, so you really need to change out your links to links showing your account instead.

Ok but i'm not shaming him or anything. He did nothing wrong. He's a really good player and he made me want to learn Irelia . He deserves to be diamond or masters. I am however naming and shaming riot for placing him in my ranked game and making me lose LP.

Yes, but the rule is still there. Best to change the links before a mod comes by and gets rid of them.

The rule says Do not make posts accusing another player of causing a negative in-game experience, cheating, trolling, or any other malicious activity, even if you have hard evidence. I didn't accuse the player of anything. i accuse riot of shit match making.

while ill agree with you that plat probably has feeders/toxic players as well, it is not in fact silver. Silver is filled with smurfs and new players. plat at least does not have new players. I mean even in my gold games i am not getting fresh 30s.

He was in placements when we played against each other. He got placed in Plat 5 after placements. He said he was a diamond 2 smurf. Talk about unfair.
