Essence Conversion for Hextech Crafting

Just a thought Riot, and I know the whole hextech crafting thing is free and super cool, but as a person who has played a significant amount of league, I own all the champs. It is honestly quite disappointing when i open a box and get a shard for a champion I already own. And not only that, but since I own all the champions, breaking them down into blue essence is useless to me. So I am sitting here with almost 2000 blue essence and no way to use it. I'm not saying you have to change the system to only give me skin shards (although that would be nice) but it would at least be nice if there was some sort of conversion system to change blue essence to orange and vise-versa. You wouldn't even have to make it 100% convertible. 100 of one essence could convert into like 80 of the other kind or something. I just want some way to make use of all my essence. For others out there like me who have put in enough time to own all the champions, (or broke down and bought a bunch so they owned all) either way they have spent enough time/ money to deserve the ability to get what they want in some way and not get stuck with something useless.
