End Season Gold IV Start season Silver V

Really?... REALLY?... all last season and this preseason i grinding the living shit out of solo q. Played every night just to get better and better. Everyday i was slowly climbing up the ladder. Literally gave up things in my life just to get better. New season start I'm hyped AF ready to destroy. last 5 games get last pick and have to support, ok whatever. Things go weird in a few games, some trolls etc. Ok it happens in solo q. I go 5-5, average win/loss rate in my eyes its bad but ok damage can't be that bad. Silver 5. How in one day did my mmr, league gods, Rito gods, or anything go so bad that I went from Gold 4 to Silver 5? That is absurd. I can accept Silver 2 or hell even Silver 3, but silver 5? I might as well be in Bronze. I have a gigantic problem with this. I know it's hard to make a game completely balanced and everything but this shoudn't be a thing, End rant..

Same thing happened last year. Don't know why I expected different but I figured I would give them another chance. Worked really hard to pull myself out of bronze and through silver. Even got to my gold promo match and lost 2-3. Now placements hit and I am back down to bronze 1. So don't worry, you aren't the only one.

Sadly, placements will be my last games of LoL for a while. I am not going through the bronze community again. It was toxic and not a fun experience. At least in silver there was less drama. At the end when I was S1, I was playing a mix of S1 and gold and was really enjoying myself. But I won't do that grind again.

Stay strong if you choose to. It's not for me anymore.

I ended S5 just because I didn't use this account as my main but I'm currently 6-1 and fully expecting to be bronze 5.

Alright guys, I climbed from Bronze 3 to Gold 5 last year. Ready to do my promos, wish me luck. Btw I think you guys shouldn't play ranked until they implement the new system where if you are Gold and below, reaches your promos and loses them, when you get promos again the first game is an automatic win.

Lol people, its called a soft reset. If you were gold 4, your mmr was prob like 1300. For a soft reset its your past mmr + 1000, divided by 2. So that 1300+1000=2300. 2300/2=1150. Which is silver. Its just how the reset goes every year. Challengers cannot even be placed above plat 1, diamond and plats are being placed in gold, so yeah everyone is going to pretty much get placed lower. No reason to complain though, you've got a new year with fresh stats and mmr to climb. Whatever rank you think you deserve...or actually do...you'll get.
