Kindred: W Passive in lane

Just food for thought, and riot if they want to listen, What would you guys think of kindreds w heal passive only going off on jungle camps, and perhaps champions as well? Just not minions. Kindred in lane feels a bit oppressive with her low mana costs and poke, but putting a ton of sustain on top of it makes it feel pretty uneven, at least in my experience. This isn't a call out or me whining, just a legitimate question.
