I hate Fizz, kind of,

I actually don't. I feel like he has problems that make him unhealthy, but he's a unique little b****** and that's already something that needs to be preserved. Fizz's problems aren't with his mobility/damage/utility on his q and e, in fact, these are solid abilities that, complain as you will, give fizz what he needs to work. Fizz's real problems are with his w (hidden/unclear, inconsistent damage that just makes him even more frustrating, I mean, how many times have YOU thought "I outplayed that Fizz and survived with 50 hp!" only to die to that stupid passive on his w, because you forgot it existed, personally, that's when I rage) and that horrendously useless passive. I feel like Fizz having a bad w with a passive component and a useless passive fixes itself.

Easy Fizz fix: -Delete that useless passive -move the passive DoT on his W to his passive -Change the DoT effect to current health with a clear visual and make it have low base damage (scaling a little with levels) and a good AP ratio so we can avoid this Tank/bruiser fizz bullshit that happens once a season. -(maybe) remove the damage steroid from his ult.

AP Fizz, when ahead is pretty awful to play against, but that's why he has a weak early lane, so you punish him hard enough to stop any roam potential. The real problem with fizz is that AD/Tank Bruiser build that pops up every season. It has little to no ability to shut down since tank items are dirt cheap and effective for what they do. This build abuses his inherent mobility and utility, plus his big damage steroid on his ult, and the biggest culprit, the % missing health damage on his w passive.

(Quick note: I was inspired by a Jeremy "Gaming Curios" video, I posted a similar comment on YouTube, but felt it needs to be on the boards more)

Well, there are a lot of champs I really hate. Namely Blitz and Morgana. Of course these champs cannot function if their core spells are removed, but that doesn't mean they're any less frustrating. One misstep and you're at the mercy of the whole team. Does that playstyle deserve to be preserved?

I honestly don't have a straight answer for that. It's not a fun experience to be staring down a long death timer because of one misclick, but on the other hand it feels like an immense reward for a perfectly timed skillshot for the person playing, something a good majority of the playerbase craves.

And maybe the same thing can be said about Fizz. There are MANY frustrating elements in his kit, but that's what makes him so...fun...for some. All the changes we need are to improve clarity and counterplay while maintaining the trolly essence of the champ. Make his shark brighter, let us see the range of his e, lower his dash speed perhaps, and don't mess too blindly with his numbers.
