Getting pretty annoying to get high up in lp and then drop to 0 and lose my rank instantly and have to play 4+ games just to get it back when I only lost 1 time at 0 lp the least they could do is just knock you back into promo

First, unless you've been on a losing streak, you won't immediately drop from 0 lp down a tier. Second, if you've been losing so often, then it's a flag for the system that maybe you're a bit higher than you're supposed to be. So following this, thirdly, if the game drops you down a tier, then it's because it thinks you're around that level, and that you need to practice a bit more before getting the chance to climb back up.
Is it ideal? No. Is it frustrating? Possibly. But is it logical? Absolutely.

so i won 3 in row, lost 2 and got demoted, made me very confused, this only happened to me once

I swear when I get promoted I hate starting off at 0 since I know that's where all the people who are failing there matches are queqing up at. Like dear hell give us 2/3 mostly 3 chances if you lose matches when you are at 0 LP before demoting my asz.

Best two out of three. If you win you get to go back to 0lp. If you lose you get depressed and drop down to 75lp. Note- that being at 0lp if the "winners" lose their next game they go back to another demotion series.
It's like extreme musical chairs, where the losers waste anywhere from 45 min to 3 hours to discover that there are only 5 fucking chairs and the winners play the same length of time to play another game that has 50% chance of putting them right back into another game of musical chairs for the chance to win ANOTHER 50% CHANCE OF PLAYING MUSICAL CHAIRS.
