Flex Queue is absolutely broken

Okay, so I ended up getting to Silver 1 last season, finished Silver 3 after not playing. I win 7/10 of my placement matches and get placed Bronze 1. I'm only allowed to que with people one rank higher than me, but consistently I'm on a team full of bronze skill players while being matched against silver 1 players queued with high gold players? I just don't understand why Riot would create a system that just seems so unfinished? I should be matched with people my skill level on both sides of the rift, not put in an uphill battle where lower skill players are forced to play against people two ranks above their current skill level? Is anyone else running into these unreasonable match ups?

You also got pretty lucky with your placements. Most people with MUCH higher skill and average placement than you were put in bronze 5-2

Lee Sin is Silver 5 not Gold 5. You are looking to Season 6 solo ranks.

Let's be real though, Season 6 ranks are still accurate portrayals of our skill level. I'm not suddenly a bronze player now just because Flex Queue said so.

This happens evey new season but noone says Solo queue is broken. I don't say this is logical. I say Flex is working as expected. The only problem is placements.

A Gold player being placed in silver at the beginning of a season is still a gold skill player. IWDominate has a good video showing how broken flex queue is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsgznFuKC1Q I understand that you might see this as someone in low elo complaining about matchmaking, but this is a good example of issues needing to be fixed by riot.

You might think something is great, but that's the great thing about discussion boards, you can voice your opinions. You coming on here doesn't change what I've experienced and I doubt that I'll be able to convince you otherwise. However, based on my poll, even though only a few people have taken it, people are experiencing a similar issue.
