I've gotten multiple S's with Miss Fortune but you need to dominate in every stat, not just KDA.

While that wouldn't be bad for a ~20 minute game with that much fighting, it would be horrible in a 30 or 40 minute game regardless of how many kills you had.
Livin like Riven2 votesThe most important stat in S-ranking an ADC is CS. 18/6 Ezreal with 300 CS will get you S+, whereas 21/1 with 200 will get you A+ or S-. In the same regard, I actually got an S- on MF going 9/10 or 9/11(can't remember) because I'd been getting destroyed all game and decided to farm until I was relevant.

This is the correct answer. You get your grade based on how well you do compared to other players of that champion around the same mmr and game length.
There are enough MF players at your mmr who do better than you that you get an A compared to their S.
