Nunu ans Willump balance

I know it has only been 1 day, but how are we feeling about Nunu's balance? I played 6 games yesterday and Nunu was in 5 of them. 2 games were tank Nunu, 2 games were AP Nunu, and one game was off-tank Nunu. Here's what I noticed about each:

  1. Tank Nunu: His early game(as with all Nunus) was incredibly strong. Easy level 2 scuttle and easy ganks. Once they started building tanky, the problem I saw was that his damage was still very high. He wasn't fed either game, but he was nearly impossible to kill and dealt crazy damage in teamfights and 1v1's
  2. AP Nunu: I'm going to base my thoughts on one game, because the second one my botlane fed him an extreme amount so it isn't a great example. This Nunu just seemed to have no weak point. Early game: great. Mid game: even better. Late game: fell off a little, but was still incredibly strong. He built pure AP, only health he had was from Morello, but he still couldn't be 1v1'd by anyone. He was just too tanky with too much damage.
  3. Hybrid Nunu: This Nunu was by far the best. He dealt a decent amount of damage, and was soooo hard to kill. He could 1v1 anyone, 2v1 botlane, and both initiate and contribute in teamfights.

My verdict: Nunu's kit is great and I see no problem with it. I'd say maybe remove the slow immunity on his snowball, but it's w/e. The real problem I see is with his base stats and scaling. When he builds no health or armor he still is way too tanky. When he builds all tank with literally no AP he still hits like a truck. Has anyone else felt this way? It might be because I'm low elo and I just don't know how to deal with him, but he seems like a menace.

Edit: accidentally said he's been out 5 days, not 1

Has anyone else felt this way?

I felt the AP version very vulnerable, a lot of damage on the R and W, but you die before you load the R (or you get canceled).

The issue you have with his tankiness is probably just the fact that people are building him AP while his stats are more focused towards a tank, but I can see the problem you would have with that.

The issue you have with his damage is due to the fact that his snowball charges and does a TON regardless of which form he's in.

Either way I can see where you're coming from, and I do think he's a balanced pick. He's not too strong to the point where you can't counterplay him, but he is strong enough to fit in.

Nunu hasn't been out 5 days, he literally dropped yesterday. It's entirely too early to be doing analyses of his power and his balance needs.

I played him a few times and I definitely understand a bit. Most his damage in fights is his w and r though. But because he gets the shield from his r if he hits w, a few e’s and then you get stuck in the full r you’re gonna feel it. I preferred the tanky one with abyssal because then your kit isn’t solely reliant that you hit w.

I tried a bit of everything as them, so far, AP is the most broken. Tank quickly falls behind, I mean ok you got a strong engage, but you deal no damage past early game (like literally nothing)

AP can basically delete a squishy from afar (it's super hard to miss his W) and then engage with E (root at the end) + R, basically getting people stuck inside your ult, while also being quite tanky

And off-tank has the same issue as full tank, hardly falls behind

AP doesn't seem to fall at all and is strong at all points in the game
