Nerf. Riven. Please.

Im really tired of seeing Riven every single game. Riven has no hard mechanics, my lvl 16 friend figured them out pretty much in a week. Riven can 1-shot you while you are stunned FOR ONE GOD DAMN SECOND (counter play, where have i heard that? ). Does she have any problems with hitting the stun? NO, cause she has freakin' 3 mobility spells + flash with nearly 0 cd, one of them gives her a shield that for some reason always is up. Today I read about future updates and I saw that Riot are buffing her Q-Auto-Q-Auto-Q-Auto combo. You can't buff a champion that is way too strong already. AND if that's not enough, I HATE, I really, really, really HATE Riven mains. They are cocky if they win, and sore losers when they lose. They expect to win every lane and when they don't they get pissed off.

My personal ideas:

Reduce her passive's damage.

I see a Riven Q'ing towards me... I must stand still... like a frightened lamb... must not move away. OMG she killed me... knew staying put was the right choice, because now I can complain about it.

Implying you can outrun her without mobility of your own. Unless you're Darius, then you just kill her.

I see a Riven Q'ing towards me... I run away and even flash towards my turret... like a frightened lamb... she still catches me with her four semi flashes on low cooldowns. OMG she killed me... knew there was nothing I could do, because now I can complain about it.

I played her and she has counterplay... in the form of darius and lag though. Not very reliable.

Riven is a snowballer, so all you need to do is not give her kills, take a champ with good ranged poke to try to keep her off CS or at low heath so she can't engage. Beat Riven in Champ select or with a proper team comp (in blind pick).

NO, cause she has freakin' 3 mobility spells + flash with nearly 0 cd, you mean you played someone with no mobility in a meta around mobility? your fault "she has more mobilty than anyone" fair enough but with a ranged stun and 1 maybe 2 dashes depending on distance you can get away before she can catch up one of them gives her a shield that for some reason always is up. 2.1 seconds its down to be fair thats not a long time however shes also a melee which means that anyone out of the dash range can pretty much wait it out since 1.5 second long shield is basically useless unless timed to tank damage correctly Today I read about future updates and I saw that Riot are buffing her Q-Auto-Q-Auto-Q-Auto combo. no they're making it easier to do plus this was a while ago and they still havent its been like 4 patches they most likely decided against it because it wasnt a good idea You can't buff a champion that is way too strong already. shes a bit stronger than other melees that do what she does AND if that's not enough, clearly its not since im easily able to defend every point I HATE, I really, really, really HATE Riven mains. Reduce her passive's damage. yea that wont change much since like nearly every riven (besides the one who actually know her well and will do good no matter how much you nerf her) doesnt even use their autos except when spells are down just increase the Cd at later rank on all abilities and shes fine also lower sheild scaling

no. riven is high risk high reward, she doesn't build tank stats and will get blown up if cc'd. she has to get in melee range to do it and has trouble getting to the back line to do any real damage without burning her flash.

you want to win lane because you have trouble with her early, just give up lane and farm and get ganks in your favor, tower hug and so long as you didn't feed her more than 2 kills you have a strong chance at beating her.

have you even considered what a rammus does to a riven in the top lane?

Honestly whenever I see a riven against me my first thought is "Well I know I'm going to win my lane."

Then my next thought about 10 mins later is "Ok I'm 6/0 and riven is now rushing tank items. My Job is done."

For a list of champs I find good for playing against riven.

Garen, Olaf, Darias, Hecarim, Rengar (depending on how good you are), Cho gath, and pretty much anyone else with either the cc to stop her from using abilities, or the poke to beat her down.

Riven can snowball and be very scary, but if she is shut down she is one of the least useful things you could have on your team.
